Totems Putting Shaman into Combat

On RoS, when a totem (tremor/cleansing) pulses and affects a friendly target who is in combat, it also puts the shaman in combat. This is not supposed to happen.

Shaman starts out of combat with Cleansing Totem down.

0:02 it pulses, removing Wound Poison from the priest, putting the Shaman in combat.

0:04 Shaman gets blinded (lasts 10 seconds).

0:05 Crippling Poison is removed from priest, refreshing the Shaman's combat

0:08 Wound Poison is removed from priest, refreshing the Shaman's combat

0:11 Crippling Poison is removed from priest, refreshing the Shaman's combat

0:13 Rogue vanishes to attempt to sap the shaman who hasn't done anything in 10 seconds (since being blinded)

0:14 Wound Poison is removed from priest, refreshing Shaman's combat

0:16 Shaman is still in combat, even after doing virtually nothing that should put him in combat (and is consequently unsappable).

1:19 Rogue blinds shaman (10 second duration)

1:23 Crippling Poison is removed from the warlock via Cleansing Totem (on RoS, this would erroneously put the shaman into combat)

1:26 Rogue saps shaman (who is obviously out of combat, or he wouldn't be able to do so).

If Cleansing Totem was supposed to put the Shaman into combat, he would not have been sappable at all out of the blind (because there's another tick at 1:26)

I hope this is clear. It's already cost me a couple losses in arena.

For future reports, is this kind of thing acceptable, or should I try to use the ingame /combatlog feature to log the information to a text file?

You can do either or. /combatlog will give more info.. so just use your best guess based on the intricacy of the issue ^^
