Bad idea. Let's not advertise untrusted binaries neither encourage users to install 'em. nocache
is easy to build from source. Eventually when more distros ship nocache
it will be possible to install it from native (digitally signed) repositories. For some distros you can consider uploading to repoforge.
@Danyboy thank you for the rpm packaging. Instead of advertising non-official binary packages, could you sponsor the inclusion of nocache in Fedora and Redhat-based distros? or maybe send a pull-request with the rpm packaging...
@onlyjob already covered Debian, so it should be available on Debian, Ubuntu and other Debian-based distros.
I agree. We should have official binary packages or have the users compile the tool manually. (It’s as simple as typing make
…)
ArchLinux CentOS Fedora Mandriva Mint SUSE etc packges are availible on ftp://updates.etersoft.ru/pub/Korinf/projects/nocache/
Maybe added it to readme.md?
