I m not able operate Hindi and punjabi keyboards

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.There is no icon displayed for keyboards

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
(iPhone/iPod Touch? Firmware version?)?
iPhone 3g version 3.0 (7A341)
