I would love to be able to see the Pocket Casts on my XFCE volume widget. (I saw that this doesn't work on Cinnamon and GNOME as well)

The https://github.com/fuadsaud/pocket-casts-linux software has this, but it's only packaged for Arch. Maybe the code can be reused here?

As I understand it, the idea behind this functionality is basically having a software such as playerctl find the Pocket Casts player.
