Socks5 not working on Microsoft Edge browser #2438

I added my socks5 proxy with authentication (username and password) but it's not working, I see an error something like this:

"Hmmm… can't reach this page. ERR_SOCKS_CONNECTION_FAILED"

Doesn't the extension not work for the Microsoft Edge browser?

SOCKS5 Auth is not implemented in Chrome/Chromium.

All Chrome based browsers have the same problem, EDGE is one of them. You could, by the way, have found that info on the github front page of this project.
