Proxy Switchy fails for unknown reason

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Selecting Proxy Switchy
2. Picking any proxy that is set (and previously worked)
3. Proxy attempts to connect, then fails with the following error:

The proxy _should_ work (as it had been for the past few months)

My solution was to switch to using Switchy Sharp 
(https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/proxy-switchysharp/dpplabbmogkhghncfb
fdeeokoefdjegm?hl=en)

Basically the same thing, but works!
