First, rest assured that there is no way for a Chrome extension to screw up your system. When you remove the extension, ALL settings for that extension will be gone, and it will not be able to control extensions any more.
Okay. Now, 99% that SwitchySharp does is to tell Chrome to use proxy settings. To do so, you must first add the proxies in SwitchySharp options. It WILL NOT read your existing proxies elsewhere, such as system settings, other extensions, your text file, etc. It will not change your existing proxies elsewhere either.
Once you've done that, you can click on the SwitchyOmega icons which opens the popup that allows you to select a profile. That will tell Chrome to use the proxy server, port, etc. configured within that profile.
If you'd upload a screencast, I would suggest that you upload a screencast that shows how you set up SwitchyOmega. Your screencast shows your Google search, which is not helpful at all for debugging the issue.
I introduced you extension to switch proxies in one click, but instead it seems to have stopped the proxy from working at all. It was working fine earlier this morning. I then added your chrome extensoin and it does not see the proxy at all. I remain placed in London, when i need to appear to be in Madrind in Span.

Please advise at the earliest possible time as it appears at this point that your extension has screwed up my system.
