Proxy settings ignore in Chrome 34.0.1847.132 #944

## What's the problem? (e.g. The expected output and the actual output.)
Requests to google.com domains and Google owned sites are not being sent
through configured proxy.

Using SOCKETS 5 proxy thru ssh.

Started happening around 5/3 - 5/5/14.

On client machine, a request of google.com does not show up via tcpflow on
proxy server. All sites that request a google domain or Google owned, are
failing to be sent through proxy.
Proxy in Firefox works fine.

It looks like a recent Chrome update now ignores proxy extensions.

See post on Google's GMail Group:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/gmail/CLVtIflHohg/wz31xaRAjUIJ

## What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get Chrome 34.0.1847.132
2. ssh -D 9999 <host>
3. Configure SOCKETS 5 proxy to localhost:9999
4. Go to google.com

## What's your operating system and which version of Chrome/Chromium are you
using?
Fails on Ubunutu 12.04. And Mac...
Google Chrome 34.0.1847.131 (Official Build 265687)
OS Mac OS X
Blink 537.36 (@171891)

Appears to be a Chrome problem/issue/bug. Even system-level proxy config
doesn't work - google.com won't load.
