User Name & Password for Proxy service login? #984

It would be nice to have two fields for username and password if required for 
proxy service. I tried the user:pass@address:port

I have to use a proxy to work around watching regional blackout broadcasts. My 
popup login is not working so I am looking for an extension to automatically 
log me in and start the proxy.

This is not possible using the current Chrome APIs. But new possibility is 
considered now. See Issue 173 for updates.
