Describe the bug

• 1. there is a delay in messages, once I receive a msg I have to exit chat and go back to receive the message

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. match with a person
2. navigate to matches
3. select your match to start chatting and send a message
4. if they send a message right back, you won't receive it without exiting the chat screen and coming back

Expected behaviour messages should be received in real-time

Screenshots just run the app and test. a screenshot wouldn't surface or rather wouldn't show the correct expected behaviour
