WebCAL has no built-in option to restrict the query to only a certain week or similar time-spans. This leads to the client reading of year-old events on request from the server. This is “okay-ish” for now, as it only means a few more seconds for the request. For future calendar implementations, we have to keep in mind to delete old events to prevent this in the future.
