Btw, do you have guidelines for the format of C? My VS Code automatically formats C code like moving the left parentheses to new lines and moving the stars from the end of types to the start of variables.

There is no guideline I am following for the formatting, it is just what seemed nicest to me:

• No newline for {
• not longer than 80col (except function definitions)
• * at type not variable
• no typedefs
