MacBook Pro M1 running Sonoma 14.6.1

My sketchybarrc file lists the 14 spaces I have set up. For the last year, it's shown all of them. Yesterday, it stopped showing the last 2. Here's my file:

# This is a demo config to show some of the most important commands more easily.
# This is meant to be changed and configured, as it is intentionally kept sparse.
# For a more advanced configuration example see my dotfiles:
# https://github.com/FelixKratz/dotfiles

##### Bar Appearance #####
# Configuring the general appearance of the bar, these are only some of the
# options available. For all options see:
# https://felixkratz.github.io/SketchyBar/config/bar
# If you are looking for other colors, see the color picker:
# https://felixkratz.github.io/SketchyBar/config/tricks#color-picker

sketchybar --bar height=32        \
                 blur_radius=30   \
                 position=top     \
                 sticky=off       \
                 padding_left=10  \
                 padding_right=10 \
                 color=0x15ffffff \

##### Changing Defaults #####
# We now change some default values that are applied to all further items
# For a full list of all available item properties see:
# https://felixkratz.github.io/SketchyBar/config/items

sketchybar --default icon.font="Hack Nerd Font:17.0"  \
                     icon.color=0xffffffff                 \
                     label.font="Futura:16.0" \
                     label.color=0xffffffff                \
                     padding_left=5                        \
                     padding_right=5                       \
                     label.padding_left=4                  \
                     label.padding_right=4                 \
                     icon.padding_left=4                   \
                     icon.padding_right=4                   \
                     #icon.max_chars=40                      \
                     #icon.scroll_texts=true

##### Adding Mission Control Space Indicators #####
# Now we add some mission control spaces:

# to indicate active and available mission control spaces
#sf symbols

for i in "${!SPACE_ICONS[@]}"
do
  sid=$(($i+1))
  echo "Current i: $i"
  echo "Current space: $sid ${SPACE_ICONS[i]}"
  sketchybar --add space space.$sid left \
             --set space.$sid space=$sid                                 \
                              icon=${SPACE_ICONS[i]}                     \
                              background.color=0x44ffffff                \

##### Adding Left Items #####
# We add some regular items to the left side of the bar
# only the properties deviating from the current defaults need to be set

sketchybar --add item space_separator left \
           --set space_separator icon=                            \
                                 padding_left=1                   \

##### Adding Right Items #####
# In the same way as the left items we can add items to the right side.
# Additional position (e.g. center) are available, see:
# https://felixkratz.github.io/SketchyBar/config/items#adding-items-to-sketchybar

# Some items refresh on a fixed cycle, e.g. the clock runs its script once
# every 10s. Other items respond to events they subscribe to, e.g. the
# volume.sh script is only executed once an actual change in system audio
# volume is registered. More info about the event system can be found here:
# https://felixkratz.github.io/SketchyBar/config/events

sketchybar --add item clock right \
           --set clock   update_freq=10                        \
                         icon=                                \
                         script="$PLUGIN_DIR/clock.sh"         \
                                                               \
           --add item volume right                             \
           --set volume  script="$PLUGIN_DIR/volume.sh"        \

           --add item countdown right                          \
           --set countdown script="$PLUGIN_DIR/countdown.sh"    \
                         update_freq=1200                         \

media=(
  script="$PLUGIN_DIR/media.sh"
    click_script="$PLUGIN_DIR/music_click.sh"
  updates=on
    label.font="Futura:14.0" \

)

sketchybar --add item media right \
           --set media "${media[@]}" \
           --subscribe media media_change\

##### Finalizing Setup #####
# The below command is only needed at the end of the initial configuration to
# force all scripts to run the first time, it should never be run in an item script.

sketchybar --update

I added those debugging lines to see if the loop goes through all the spaces and it does. It prints out

Current i: 0
Current space: 1 1􀄩
Current i: 1
Current space: 2 2􀋓
Current i: 2
Current space: 3 3􀉚
Current i: 3
Current space: 4 4􀬚
Current i: 4
Current space: 5 5􀙠
Current i: 5
Current space: 6 6􁞴􀣔
Current i: 6
Current space: 7 7􀾞
Current i: 7
Current space: 8 8􀌤
Current i: 8
Current space: 9 9􀇳
Current i: 9
Current space: 10 10􀣶
Current i: 10
Current space: 11 11􀯏
Current i: 11
Current space: 12 12􁅨
Current i: 12
Current space: 13 13􀀀
Current i: 13
Current space: 14 14􀀀

Does anyone have any ideas about what could be going on or something for me to try next? Thanks!

Ah ha! I just had to manually make more spaces on my mac and then the icons appeared. I only had 12 spaces open!
