crash after click start QUake2 #12

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start quake2android
2.crash,exit without a warning.
3.

it crashed at frist function call named cvar_t *Cvar_Get (char *var_name, char 
*var_value, int flags)

inside it,it crashed at line:
var->value = atof (var->string);

I first download apk from quake2android page,it exit after click 
startQuake2,then I try to build it and install it ,same result.it seems crash 
at loading cfg files right? what would cause this error?

I can confirm that old version like 1.81 works fine.
