it only appears in customize mode. Why, and what does it do, and how can I make it appear in normal mode?

mistake UI - it works only after turning on the "mypal" button on the title bar

icons without an arrow - they show the list on the side icons with arrows - show pop-up list under icon

oh, works. (enablle the "Mypal" button by disabling the menu bar)
