currently whenever you switch to a channel in Kodi timeshift gets activated instantly even though you don't need it. This means that any channel switch keeps recording its data to a file (all the time while you are watching the TV). It would be nice if the timeshift recording gets activated after you actually pause the video in Kodi. It would save the HDD and IMHO would perform better.
