Equiped Backpack vanishes on death

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. equip backpack
2.die
3.backpack gone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the backpack to drop, or since I had a mod that dropped my inventory 
into a gravestone on death, I expected the backpack to also be dropped into the 
grave as well, however, instead, the backpack just vanishes when I die while 
it's equipped. I removed the mod with the grave stone function to see if it was 
why but it wasn't dying while wearing the backpack still didn't drop the 
backpack

What version of the mod are you using?
backpack-2.0.1-1.7.x

What version of Minecraft are you using?
1.7.10

Are you playing on a server? If so is it a forge or MCPC+ server?

simply put, if I die while the backpack is Equipped, the backpack is lost 
forever along with whats inside it. however backpacks in my inventory (not 
equipped) are unaffected. I also use Ars Magica 2's enchant Soulbound to keep 
items similar to Keep Inventory game rule, only it only works on items 
enchanted, however only works on backpacks in inventory, not equipped. to make 
things simple, I wear it and die it's gone, don't wear it and die I keep it.

This must be caused by another mod. Please try again with just backpacks 
installed.
I play with a huge modpack almost every day and don't have any problems with my 
personal backpack dropping on death.

btw. openblocks is the only mod I know of, that has a gravestone and works 
properly. So when you want to have a gravestone I suggest playing with this mod.
It also has a lot of other very neat items and blocks.
