Feature: Place backpack as inventory (chest-like access) in world #21

What should the new feature do?
Allow players to place the backpacks on the world (functioning as chests),
maybe using the 3d model of the backpack in the personal slot, which is quite
cool btw., for use in automatic dumping/filling by automation systems (hence
the chest functionality).
Altough the shift-rightclick into inventories is useful for inventory
transfers, it can easily becomes non-functional and/or cause crashes if used on
non-supported blocks.
Imagine using a BC Filler to build a room:
1. place markers
2. place filler
3. place wooden pipe & autarchic gate or engine
4. place backpack full of stone bricks or other building material
5. pump material into filler
6. power filler
7. ...
8. profit.

Should there be a config option to enable/disable the behaviour?
Yes.

I don't want to implement this. You can use a chest and with the combined gui
feature you can easily fill the chest with the content of the backpack.

Ok then. My suggestion was just for those machines/inventories that don't
implement the standard chest inventory functionality.

Thanks for considering it anyway.
