Feature: Simpler crafting backpack #93

What should the new feature do?
It would be nice if we had a version of the crafting backpack which was a
simple crafting grid. i.e. no phantom items, no pulling from backpack inventory
to fill in used crafting slots. Ideally, it would function the way the Tinker's
Construct Crafting Station does when placed next to a chest, but in backpack
form.

Bonus if the crafting grid itself was persistent storage space (also like the
TiCo Crafting Station).

Should there be a config option to enable/disable the behaviour?
Presumably it'd be configurable in the same fashion as other backpacks.

Rationale: For some of us there's quite a bit of muscle memory tied up in
putting a precise amount of material in a crafting grid, and knowing exactly
how much will come out on a shift-click. I understand the appeal and utility of
the current design for other people, but it's awkward and frustrating for me to
repeatedly waste materials on something to get far more than I intended.

No I don't want to remove this feature because it is awesome. And when you are
calculating the amount of items you need to craft e.g. 4 doors then just put
this amount of wooden planks into the backpack and shift-click will just fine
create 5 doors for you.

I wasn't asking for removal of the feature, but an alternate version of the
backpack which used the more traditional crafting.

Your suggested use pattern requires me to adjust what's in the backpack, rather
than be able to use it as persistent storage. It's awkward, and makes it
difficult to use when I have, say, 4 stacks of a material in the backpack, and
not a lot of room in primary inventory.

But I suppose it's your mod. :(
