You are missing at least one of the language files in the resources folder. 
Please redownload the mod from the thread in the MCF.

Depending on your computer skills that might be a big request, but please try 
to open the backpack-1.28.37-1.6.x.jar with a program like winrar, 7zip or 
something similar.
Then go to assets/backpack/lang and look if the file languages.txt is present.
