Hello, same problem here. Fedora Workstation 36 (GNOME 42.2). Figma Linux 0.9.6 (Fedora Flathub Selection)
But I found a solution. Just now, I uninstall the Flatpak version and I install the release Github version (in that case, the RPM version). And everything works fine!
There is another problem in Flatpak version too, the system file when I click to 'place a image' only shows my Images folder and I can't acess any other folder to select a image. I don't know if needs some permission or something like that. Well... I think Flatseal would help.
Thanks for the tip! Deleted the Flathub version and downloaded the v0.10.0 .deb package from Github helped! Now I can copy images with drag&drop from folder and also works with Ctrl+C/Ctrl-V!
I am more than happy :)
I’d like to report an issue that the Drag & Drop or Copy/Paste not works in Pop_OS! 22.04 😕
Tried to drag image file to Figma, from Files or from Desktop and neither worked.
Also tried to copy the image from Files with Ctrl-C and paste it with Ctrl-V but I only pasted the path of the file as a text.
It’s a vanilla Pop with Gnome DE. Figma Linux 0.7.6 Flathib version.
All these actions work in the Figma web version and Windows 10/11 also.
Is there any solution for this?
