Unable to connect login to Figma Desktop App from Browser in Kali Linux #327

I just installed Figma on my Kali Linux OS, opened it and it prompted me to log in with the browser, at the time I was using firefox so after i logged in, the tab would just diappear and the desktop app would remain unchanged. Later I set Microsoft edge as my default browser and tried to log in, but after asking for permission to launch the app from the browser, this error was thrown at me: figma Please help if there is a solution for this! Thanks in advance

I don't think this project should support Kali. Kali is not a distro to be used in production nor daily drive

The error on screenshot is also not responsibility of this project. it registers the custom protocol like any other electron application.

@nodgear Seeing as how I've also gotten this error on Fedora 40, using the RPM File, it's not isolated to Kali.

the electron app does need to properly pass URLs like this when prompted, so idk what you mean by that the error in the screenshot is not a responsibility of the project
