I'm having a similar issue. What happens is that it'll recognize and attempt to translate (From Japanese to English) the live chat feed, but it doesn't always translate the full thing. In some cases, it will instead translate part of the message, and then append the translated version of the message to the original rather than replace it. I've only noticed that this will happen in the last half year or so, and is a consistent issue across different computers and browsers.
