[Warning] Making changes to the registry to allow the CRX version makes the browser "managed", and therefore unable to use some features, like "Use secure DNS" #685

I followed the step-by-step on the main page, downloaded and ran twp-registry-install.reg so that I could use the CRX version (as I wanted auto-updates), and it worked fine at first. But later, when I tried to "Use secure DNS" in my browser (Brave), the feature button was unusable and there was this message: "This setting is disabled on managed browsers."

Searching for a solution, I've found that having any Chrome/Edge/Brave keys on the Registry would make the browser "managed", so I ran the twp-registry-uninstall-all.reg and the DNS feature returned to work properly.

I think a warning for this issue should be provided in the CRX installation guide, as some users may prefer changing their DNS normally than getting auto-updates.

(Btw, any way to update the unpacked extension preserving the settings?)

PS.: Sorry for any english errors, I was too hurried and lazy to check it all on Google Translaete.

Oh so this was the reason why my browser was getting that Managed message, I thought I had malware and I manually removed the registry keys to get rid of the managed message and now I can't even turn the extension on because it says, "This extension is not listed in the Chrome Web Store and may have been added without your knowledge. Learn more"
