In 2024 the extension will receive new updates (perhaps in February). For now I cannot confirm whether new translation services will be added.

Although Gemini Pro may not excel in other aspects, its translation capabilities are relatively good. If the translation extension could support the use of the Gemini Pro API for translation, it would greatly enhance the user experience of the extension.

To be honest, the translation quality of LLM is much better than that of machine translation, and I even feel that the more time invested in machine translation, the more time is wasted.
