Prefers calculating mine count based on difficulty, but if difficulty is not set it will use the explicit mine count. Configuration frontend page needs to be updated to allow the difficulty to be set, with an additional "Custom" option which actually returns null and instead uses the mine count slider. If difficulty is set, mine count should not be send as part of the payload.
