import .gitconfig from user on host machine into VM #285

I keep having to copy my git info onto the VM by way of copy/pasting ~/.gitconfig on my host system into the same location on the VM.

It'd be nice to automate this task if ~/.gitconfig exists on the host system.

No VM any more, so closing this ticket.

Unfortunately I don't think we're ready to say that. There isn't a way for a developer to develop KarmaNotes for free, so there is still a place for a dokku-based VM until we work something else out.

You transferred your beta version for a reason. There's no way to work on it without having FinalsClub foot the bill.

@AndrewMagliozzi I don't think you've weighed in on this yet. Is it a requirement that developers be able to work on KarmaNotes without paying anything to Heroku and/or without FinalsClub's support?

@charlesconnell For the time being, please comment "should we close this?" for DevOps tickets I've created rather than outright closing them. You did that with one ticket, and it was ready to be closed, but then you started mass closing my tickets.

Although I haven't reviewed the dokku stuff yet, I think this particular ticket might not apply given the git/VM interaction.

Since @AndrewMagliozzi has not got back to us on the development VM issue with a yay or nay, it would seem that there will be no development VM. Lack of answer is the same as nay. Thus I haven't reviewed dokku stuff, thus I'm not sure this ticket has relevance.
