Doubled up back ticks

All the code examples are wrapped in doubled-up back ticks. Standard markdown is just one back tick - are you using a different MD flavour? @triblondon

Have since clarified that Markdown actually supports both in the vanilla syntax and doubled up ticks are used if you need ticks inside the string. Since we generally don't, I think I'd rather see single ticks used, but this is not a big problem.
