matomo.js should be delivered with an 'application/javascript' Content-Type. You are using 'text/javascript'. #14

After upgrading to 5.0.2 we can see the System check this message under matomo.js Matomo seems to be working fine, and I can't see where I should go to change this anyway. Is this a false negative?

I have the same message and this is wrong. Per RFC .js should be served as text/javascript. application/javascript is obsolute. See https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9239#name-iana-considerations
