Why This is Interesting

The parent of steemit and eos, bitshares is a distributed exchange (DEX) written by Dan Larimer ( https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@dantheman/daniel-larimer--co-founder-of-bitshares-steemit ). I am not sure if there is enough detail to cover this, but there is a full repo and people are still using bitshares-core to run a DEX.
