This repository is for data and scripts related to plant species distribution across the globe using the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) dataset.
This should be the final extraction with fixed quoted fields and run against a recent GBIF plantae record set. I will put the resulting occurrence zipped csv file on dropbox in a few minutes:
gbif-occurrences_extracted_150311.csv
Which has 78,669,155 records. This is comma delimited but with every field quoted. I can rerun with tab-delimited output if that works better for R.
