Varchar distinct error in FB 1.5 RC8 embed [CORE13] #331

When I execute query with distinct or group by on varchar field, the FB RC8 embed crash. Normal version (not embed) works fine on same database. I receive error "Access violation at address 1003891D in module 'fbembed.dll'. Read of address 00000000".

Cannot be reproduced on my side. Please provide a test case.
