the link 'read more' in Downloads / Latest Release 2.5 does not update anything on the page ( http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/firebird-2-5/ ). May be this link intended for FB Release News ?

Link read more is located at the banner, not at the page. There should be improvement to do not show this banner on this particular page.

That "Read More" link behaves as though it points to information about the release, which should be the content from http://web.firebirdsql.org/index.php?op=devel&sub=engine&id=fb25_release

A new page "Firebird 2.5 Release Description" was created. http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/firebird-2-5-release-description/ Now the "Read More" link points to it, instead of Downloads --> Server Packages --> Firebird 2.5 as before.

To make the improvement, mentioned by Alexey - "to do not show this banner on this particular page" - we need to have more banners. At the moment there are only 3 banners. If the "Latest Release 2.5" banner is disabled now, we'll have an empty space on the top of the page.
