"Get Firefox add-on" button? #301

Is/Will there be a Firefox "download add-on/get add-on here" button?

I only know this one:

But it is not using the new Photon-style Firefox icon.

(cross-posted to Discourse)

BTW the result is the images of the old 2015 blog post have been updated and now use the new Firefox icon – but still with the blue background.

(live image embedding above)

I still doubt this is 100% photon design, so I rather leave this issue open unless someone says something different.

The blue background is still #109AD6 (Australis Blue), but should probably be #0060DF (Photon Blue 60)

rugk commented 6 years ago

…or maybe not blue at all, considering that the Firefox icon has a blue part in the middle at the top and the contrast may be bad at this part.

This issue should fit better somewhere related to extensions and themes. @pwalm can you get in touch with @rugk? In the meanwhile, I close this issue.

Okay, i suggest to discuss this on Discourse: https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/get-addon-fpr-firefox-badge-button/28162

Hi @rugk! I am aware of this issue and will be prioritizing it for Q3. Thanks!

@pwalm So what happened to this issue? Q3 is in the past.

Also if this issue here is valid, one may better re-open it? Or where can this be tracked?

Asking for the same for Thunderbird: https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/where-can-i-get-the-get-add-on-download-badge-button-image-for-promoting-the-extension/84631
