Edcast Winamp Plugin MP3 keeps disconnecting

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I configure the edcast plugin to connect to Icecast2 server
2. I then hit connect

It keeps disconnecting automatically as soon as I select "Live Recording".

DSP, Windows 7 Starter. Plugn version 3.33.2011.1026.

The problem has nothing to do with edcast, it is with the version of the MP3 
encoder you downloaded - which version of lame are you using?

Hi

Ive tried different versions of the lame encoder but all with the same
result. Can you please suggest the version I should use?

I've had success with LAME 3.99.5

what parameters are you setting for your stream? sample rate, bit rate, 
channels etc?

I think this problem is possibly related to remote icecast password rather
than edcast or lame because ive successfully broadcasted using a local
installation of icecast.
