Specifically for scoring create an overview page or status bar (at bottom or top). This status can show some information about the performance and connectivity for the scoring module. For example:
"Connected" clients: or rather, show the last received submission for each client (so you can identify who has been offline). This can include also which table/referee has submitted.
MHub status: show the connection (last message send / received to from Mhub)
