This is a UI suggestion. I am a fairly technical individual (I've developed applications using Rails, work as a DBA, etc.), and even I found myself forgetting to click the small save button on individual settings in the Tournament Setup page.
There doesn't appear to be any visible UI indication that there is an un-saved change when someone modifies an setting entry box to indicate that they need to click the Save button. There needs to be a visible indication in the entry box/drop down - perhaps the text background changes, the text changes to italics, whatever. In addition, the save button icon should bold or get darker or somehow indicate that it has become active. Finally, the UI standard (https://github.com/FirstLegoLeague/user-interface/blob/master/docs/UI-standard.md) seems to indicate that there should be a cancel button as well.
