Some tweets are more popular than others, and thus retweeted. However most of the time we do not want to put those retweets on the allowed-list.

It would be nice that retweets aren't displayed in the list of 20 tweets, since 20 retweets of one tweet can block the rest of the tweets.
Auto-disapprove retweets so that they are not pushed to the API. If the tournament wants to allow retweets then using the all-tweets page or a separate page can list those retweets with functions to approve them.

That's an excellent idea. Maybe add a 'Show retweets' checkbox to the list page in that case.

I think people can add text to a RT. If they then include e.g. "#wowmoment" into that text (and it wasn't in the tweet before), we may still want to consider this tweet for moderation. However, it would be good if we don't need to search the DB while tweets are streaming in (i.e. this type of info needs to be derived from the tweet itself, if possible).
