Add Tide to Spot

Summary

After a spot is created, display the nearby tide stations based on the spot's coordinates (or coordinates derived from the spots's address); e.g., in a drop down menu. When a tide station is selected, display the tide data. When the spot is saved, the selected tide station becomes associated with the spot.

ATC

• The Tide Station field is only displayed if "Salt water" was selected from the "Water" field.
• The Tide Station menu field is populated with the 10 nearest tide stations relative to the lat/Lon of the spot.
• The default is the nearest tide station.
• When a tide station is selected, the tide and current for the next 7 days is displayed.
• A user can view the tide information in:
  • graphical form
  • tabular form
• The default tide view is graphical.

• We are going to create server side method / object that will compute the nearest 10 tide station based lat/long of the spot.
• This server side method will then return the list of 10 tide stations to the UI.
