Launcher files cause d3dx9_43.dll is missing error #30

I have reinstalled multiple versions of Direct X and nothing has solved my problem. If I remove all of the files created by the h2online launcher then Halo 2 launches and works perfectly fine. Once I ran h2online and the files were updated, I got the "d3dx9_43.dll is missing" error. I removed the files and the game launched, but that does me no good since I can't connect to the servers like that.

Running on a Windows 7 Virtual Machine (Parallels Desktop on Mac OS)

Never mind, I just ran the Direct X 10 redist one more time and now everything's working okay.
