Arcade mode ships on 1 player full game mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. From the main menu, select Start New Game and then 1 / 2 Players Arcade mode
2. Press esc on the episode selection screen to go back to the main menu
3. Start the 1 player full game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The player should have the Stalker or Silver Ship, like in the original game.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Revision 1034 (7eabbf631b60) from 2013-05-31

Please provide any additional information below.
It works fine for the super arcade mode.

This sounds like a bug in the original.  Is that correct?

OpenTyrian isn't meant to be bug-compatible with Tyrian.  Since we've 
accidentally fixed it, I don't think we will put in effort to bring it back.

Well, since all arcade and super arcade mode only ships have extra information 
on the Ship Specs screen that, as far as I can tell, are only accessible from 
the full game, I always thought it was a more of a bonus thing.

Interesting.  I didn't noticed that arcade ships had ship specs.  That's 
compelling enough, I think.

In the future we might just add Ship Specs to the arcade buy/sell menu.
