Enhancement - Use new music #99

Looks like this place only has defect templates but no enhancement
templates for me to post this...

Actually, I was wondering whether it's possible to use some new music
tracks in the game... I once used a DS port of OpenTyrian (can be found
here: http://vespenegas.com/tyrian.html), which uses 22KHz mono ADPCM WAV
files (due to system limitation) as its background music, and thus it's
possible to change the ingame music by replacing with another music
converted to this format.

The music files from the OpenTyrian DS site is 64kbps. Though the music
files converted from Audacity is about 88kbps, it can still work perfectly,
and the quality is still very good.

But I'm not certain whether it's possible to add some new music in
OpenTyrian (or use another modern format such as OGG for background music).

However, it's possible to change between these in-game soundtracks by
pressing BACKSPACE+SCROLL LOCK in-game, but the result is completely
random... maybe making it an ingame sound select hotkey can be a good idea.

It was once possible to use custom songs in OpenTyr Enhanced, but due to my
implementation not working very well I took it out. Look for this feature there
on
the future.
