FixTweet uses Twitter's internal GraphQL API (used by their apps) and so our latency is only as good as theirs. Sometimes, they have latency spikes or inconsistencies. Other times, they straight up error out and the additional API requests cause more latency. I've noticed some of the errors they send are non-critical causing specific tweets to time out or fail entirely. I've since improved it a few days ago to not reject the responses with errors where the data is usually still fine. This should have helped things overall, not sure when you noticed issues starting.
Sorry for delay on follow up. Since last Sunday and just saw it happen. Will continue to monitor how it goes.
(yeah, by now, it more likely temp I want to believe. it is not too bad like on Sunday to Tuesday.)
Server latency seems higher than usual past few days and cause discord embed failed on some case. (it is still rare but 1 in 100 kind of rate)
It also happen to see longer to get embed appear when someone posted fxtwitter link to discord.
