It should be possible to configure it to, instead of assuming that it can access the database, assume that it can log in to a valid email account (e.g. a gmail account set up for that purpose). We can then confirm that emails are actually being sent by the server, and test the format of these. For example, the password reset emails currently start "Hej {NICKNAME},"
