Pokémon Black / White don't get recognized when inserted #1303

Describe the bug Italian version of Pokémon Black / White Version don't get recognized as valid cartridges when inserted. Backups of said cartridges made using Checkpoint are recognized but when I try to open them "xxxx.sav not a valid save file" error pops up.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Insert Pokémon Black / White Version in 3DS cartridge slot
  2. Open PKSM
  3. See error

Expected behavior Pokémon Black / White Version cartridges should get recognized when inserted

Information about your environment

Additional context As far as I can tell, they are legitimate copies of Pokémon Black / White Version. Comparations with other cartridges confirm the fact that they should not be fake. I cannot however confirm that they are legit copies, as I bought them as used. Followed verification guide from gameverifying.com (website of r/gameverifying), confirms my hypothesis.

Someone please kill me right now. The cartridges didn't have a save file from the previous owner, so it didn't recognize them. I'm an idiot.
