This feature gives ability for user to choose preferred video format like vimeo does.

Yes, normal mode (for play mp4/flv files).

I mean ordinary (non HD) video. Vimeo player has button "HD on" that switch between HD and "non-HD" video source. For example: http://www.vimeo.com/hd

JW Player has plugin with same ability: http://www.longtailvideo.com/addons/plugins/65/HD?q=
