Stalling on preparing screen #11

Open didlow opened 5 months ago

Greetings all. I'm probably overlooking something really obvious, but when I try and launch wine cellar 0.1.4-1 it just stalls on the preparing screen, I left my orginal steamdeck on overnight and no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

same issue, was really hoping this plugin would be better than protonup-qt :( it stayed in extracting (protonge) for so long, i cancelled and now it gets stuck on preparing screen, i don't even know where it downloaded its stuff so that i can avoid the files taking up space

Can you all retrieve the following logs for me?

  1. Run sudo journalctl -u plugin_loader.service > ~/deckyloader.log, this should generate a deckyloader.log file in your home folder
  2. All log files located in ~/homebrew/logs/decky-wine-cellar

Installing GE Proton through ProtonUp-Qt seems to fix this issue. Removing GE Proton through Wine Celler and redownloading it works, but is VERY slow.
