Cant extract residual input from distillation tower #117

When wanting to use the Distillation Tower for multiple processes there doesn't appear to be a way to extract the residual input fluid from the previous process.

Tried

Empty fluid container in UI; won't let it in the slot
Fluid container right clicked on input port
Active fluid extraction on input port (Pneumeticraft liquid hopper)

The only way I've found is to break the multiblock and re-form.

I have been (essentially) banging a bucket against a tower for about an hour trying to figure this one out. Is this a bug or a feature?

actually - also, is there any way to get the diesel out of the input tank once its there? the output is only when processes, but what if i want to just move the diesel back out (say, I changed my mind), Would love to be able to bucket it out in a pinch...
