5 years ago Reading on wikipedia brings two uses to mind. It could go to a bitumen upgrader that turns it into a synthetic crude oil which can then be refined like normal oil. Asphalt is also used to treat fence posts, so maybe an alternative recipe for treated wood?
After building a distillation tower I've found myself with more bitumen than I can store, easily reaching thousands of stacks at the rate it's going.
I believe the bitumen production of the distillation tower should be nerfed, as well as possibly adding a bitumen block as an easy way to compress bitumen. Although it may be difficult to add this without treading on the use of asphalt concrete.
On the topic of asphalt concrete, I really like this block. Crafting it however, is an extreme pain. Having a water bucket in the recipe means it is impossible to craft high quantities at once. It would probably not make much sense to remove water from the recipe, maybe a machine to produce asphalt is needed?
Of course new uses for bitumen would be nice too, no idea what to suggest though.
