From Wes: "love your idea for image pacing lets go with that."

My original comment:

We can either do “all images are maximum __% of the width, and they just center next to each other wherever there is space”, or we can do a pattern, like “1st image is 66%, 2nd image is 33%, 3rd image is 33%, 4th image is 66%“.

@wes-anderson did you mean the pattern I mentioned with 66%, 33%, etc?
